"The Force is strong with this one"

Updated: Aug 17, 2020

Darth Vaders famous quote, "the Force is strong with this one", seems to be the only words to describe global markets grind higher in the face of rising uncertainty & risk.

This brings to mind the old adage "don't fight the Fed" - the central bank liquidity flooding global markets is propelling risk assets across the world...

China tensions resurface - who cares? central banks have our back?

Businesses defaulting left and right - who cares? government or central banks will bail them out. Missed mortgage payments skyrocket - who cares? this is only temporary

Mispricing of risk across the board is AMAZING - tread cautiously, but don't fight the Fed.
